  • Fresh Roasted Each Morning & Shipped in the Afternoon!
  • A wonderful medley of ripe tropical fruits, a tangy acidity and crisp, clean aftertaste, this is a lighter and more refreshing alternative to regular Kenyan coffee.
  • Best at a light to medium roast to carefully preserve the delicate taste profile.
  • The perfect cup to accompany a bright breakfast or a light lunch.
  • Our Kenya Peaberry was harvested using a special sieve to painstakingly separate the small percentage of berries from the more commonplace twin beans.

This single origin coffee from Kenya’s Central Province is crafted purely from prized coffee berries - a particular type of coffee bean, formed when the two seeds of a berry fuse into a single tiny oval bean rather than two flat-faced sides. A great Kenya is complex, and has interesting fruit (berry, citrus) flavors, sometimes alternating with spice. Some are clean and bright, others have cherished winey flavors. Our Kenya Peaberry was harvested using a special sieve to painstakingly separate the small percentage of berries from the more commonplace twin beans. Best at a light to medium roast to carefully preserve the delicate taste profile. This coffee has a lime, winey, tart flavor nuance that is brought about by its wonderful medley of ripe tropical fruits, a tangy acidity and crisp, clean aftertaste. This is a lighter and more refreshing alternative to regular Kenyan coffee - the perfect cup to accompany a bright breakfast or a light lunch.

Excellent coffee

I have finally settled on Kenya peaberry full city roast, as my regular coffee, and as I am working at home, means many cups a day. I have most recently tried Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, which is pretty close to the Kenyan peaberry, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexican, Yunnan, but prefer my Kenyan. I tried both dark roast (undrinkable for this coffee) and medium roast for Kenyan, but full city seems to be a sweet spot. This current choice is after 25 years of Italian roast from What's Brewing in San Antonio, perhaps the best source for coffee, but can't get my Kenyan peaberry there and can't choose roast, as I can at RhoadsRoast, which is an incredible find for me.
