- We have roasted, cupped, tasted, and enjoyed these international coffees. We recommend these as some of the finest cups for iced coffee!
- If you see iced and regular coffee as two separate entities, you may be a fan of the cold-brew variety. The hot-brewed method will result in a more robust flavor while the cold brew is mellow and naturally sweet.
- Cupping notes are included. Great for home, entertaining, and restaurant use. Contact merchant if you want your coffee order ground.
- Iced coffee -- the cooler and more refreshing relative of your morning cup of joe -- is a blessing come summertime.
- Organic, Fairtrade, Bird Friendly, and Rainforest certified coffees are available.

Not my type of coffee, its too dark for me. It has that bitter taste
I'm new to coffee and am discovering it primarily through cold brew. I found out very quickly on my first order from RhoadsRoast that I am NOT a fruity/floral coffee person. The Tanzanian peaberry was WAY too floral for me. This time around I experimented with the opposite end of the spectrum and tried both Peru Approcassi and Indo-Pacific Java Kayumas. The Peru Approcassi is excellent! It has none of the floral notes that I disliked, and all of the traditional flavors that I expected from coffee. It is excellent for cold brew, and even better hot in my opinion - which is strange, because I thought I preferred cold brew :) But this coffee is showing me both can be awesome!
And here's the awesome part: the Java-Kay is even better!!! For my tastes, the Java-Kay was slightly stronger, which is better for cold brew. It was a little richer/earthier/darker flavor, which is great because I love to mix my cold brew drinks into mochas and I need the coffee to be able to stand up to milk and sugar and chocolate and still shine through.
Both are great. I'd give the Peru a 4.8 and the Java-Kay a 5.0.
I'm very excited to have found my cold brew go-tos so quickly! Almost time for another order :)
