In the cup this coffee is lively and bright with notes of apricot and cocoa with a heavy body and a clean, crisp finish.
Ethiopia produces some of the most unique and fascinating coffees in the world.
Ethiopian Harrar coffee is often used in espresso blends to capture the fine aromatics in the crema.
At a light roast the Guji delivered the fruitiness we were looking for, sweet and syrupy strawberry flavors with blueberry tones and chocolate-citrus notes at the finish.
Great Ethiopians are hard to come by these days – be sure to get a bag before they disappear.
Characteristics: Smooth, creamy blueberry/strawberry nuances, floral notes, clean milk chocolate finish.
Elevation: 1800-2000 meters
Dried on raised beds, triple hand sorted (ripe cherry, dry pods, processed beans).
The Grade 3 aspect is simply removing more defects thru hand sorting than they do normally hence producing a cleaner, better cup.

Please store properly in an air-tight container, away from light, moisture, extreme temperatures, & oxygen. Once the beans are transferred into an air-tight container, please store in a dark pantry or kitchen cupboard for maximum freshness dating to up to 8 weeks.

The best by far, I can get into the technicals but all you need to know is its worth its weight in gold. It all boils down to Rhoads, they know how to buy at the right time and they know how to filter out poor quality and buy high quality coffee.

These beans are one of my absolute favorites from the offerings at RhodesRoast. The flavor profile is unbelievably complex and is only complemented by the natural drying process, which imparts a wonderful syrupy body and depth to the cup and accents the lovely fruit notes typically found in Ethiopian coffees. It is a challenging coffee to roast in order to fully bring out all of the subtle flavors this bean has to offer, while still maintaining the rich full body and natural sweetness. However, the effort is tremendously rewarding and I keep returning to this coffee for its wild and exotic flavor.

Really like this coffee. Ordered it several times this year. Mostly roasting it to just before 2nd crack. Makes a fine cup!

Great coffee

I roasted at a full city roast. this gives me a fabulous creamy mouth feelwith hint of chocolate flavor making my Ethiopian Sidamo pulp a perfect morning coffee.
