Costa Rica SHB Ep Tarrazu La Pastora Fresh Roasted 100% Arabica Coffee Beans
Good coffee. Very tasty.
I use a stovetop espresso maker and selected a light/city roast. Especially if you let it cool a little bit, this coffee has a very nice flavor with a bit chocolate and a bit of spice. One I keep on my favorites list!
I put off sending this [review] until I had time to grind, brew and enjoy the Costa Rican Tarrazu for a few weeks, WOW, this is a really good coffee, smooth with a subtle sweetness [to the nose] after grinding and when brewed the fruitiness shines.
I’ve been a long time [mostly] Ethiopian coffee drinker, my preference runs toward Guji but thought I would try something else [good coffee made quarantine tolerable ] the Tarrazu has been a wonderful surprise.
As always the [medium] roast has been consistent from one order to the next, the delivery quick and the service excellent, I truly appreciate it!
I have been drinking Brazilian cerrado for a few years so I thought I would branch out. This is not what I expected as I was expecting a fuller flavor. It could be that I got med roast. I found myself using more than I normally would to get the full flavor. I tried blending with the cerrado and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor. A earthy, fruity sweet taste that lingers after you swallow. I have been doing 50/50 on the blend but will experiment more. May have found a new blend I will stick with for a while.
