This is the most delicious coffee of all the different coffees I've ever had. Incredibly mellow clean taste with chocolatey notes.
As I'm used to dark roasted E African coffees (mainly), I can't really say if this is fair, but I found the Nicaragua to be fairly bland in comparison. This may be how it's supposed to be and many people may love it but it doesn't impress compared to what I'm used to. And then again, this could just be my taste. In over 10 years of buying from RR, this is the first dud I've come across.
Solid robustful mouth-feel as well as smooth. I blended it with 20% dark roasted Sumatra whole bean. So this is the basis I'm using for a result with additional body.
We use these beans for espresso and they have the perfect depth.
