Cup Characteristics:
- Classic Rwandan wine-like profile and complex acidity shine through with plenty of citrus and sweetness to round out the cup. Layered, chewy and jam filled cup with a lot of character. Very clean, crisp and balanced cup, with medium to lightly-heavy acidity (not as much as Kenya or Ethiopia). Pleasant, sweet orange lemony citrus with a hint of vanilla...excellent alternative to Kenya coffees.

The coffee is okay but not as good as other Rwandan single origin beans I have had. I like a dark, oily bean that is super smooth.
Great cup of coffee, but way too acidic in comparison to other east African coffees. It's almost overly bright and the fruity and floral notes are way too accentuated. My everyday is the Zambian gold micro lot which i thoroughly enjoy (has fruity notes and is acidic int he right kind of way) but this is almost the extreme to that. I would recommend this if you like an extra fruity coffee, but other than that, this isn't not for the everyday drinker. Not
I just opened the bag and used it for the first time today. I practically swooned, it was so fragrant! The beans were oily and wonderful. Seriously, I mean seriously, I think that first cup of coffee was among the best I’ve ever had, either at home or from a coffee shop. Maybe because it is women-owned? I highly recommend buying coffee from you. Since I bought 5 lbs, it might be a couple of weeks before I order more. 😂🤣🥸
We've bought at least 6 or 7 different beans but this one is our favorite so far: great flavor, rich and smooth! The med/dark/not oily so the roast works great in our automatic coffee maker.
